What you can expect after you schedule an appointment... When you schedule an appointment, you have begun your journey to fix the cause of your health issues! Initially, we will need some basic registration information from you. You can either come 10-15 minutes early for your appointment to fill this out, or you can download the registration paperwork from our website (HERE), complete it and bring it with you when you come. Our first step is to determine how we can help you. Dr. Witherspoon will speak to you and determine if yours seems like a problem we are equipped to help. If it is (and most physical problems are), Dr. Witherspoon will ask to take a closer look and begin figuring out what is going on. Up to this point is considered a consultation, and there is no charge. If you choose to proceed and allow Dr. Witherspoon to further examine your issue to determine the cause of the problem, Dr. Witherspoon has decided to accept you as a patient and there will be a charge for the office visit. After Dr. Witherspoon checks out your problem and has formed his initial impression, it is very likely you will be asked to obtain pictures at a nearby imaging center. He often makes this request because the health of your bones and joints is crucial if Dr. Witherspoon is going to be able to appropriately determine what kind of plan is necessary to help fix the cause of your problem. Adjusting is never performed at the initial visit, although every person is different and Dr. Witherspoon reserves the right to alter the process to appropriately care for a patient. When you return at your second visit, Dr. Witherspoon will go over his findings with you, and based on his findings will perform a “test adjustment” to determine if your body is going to respond to our care. You should know that almost all conditions will respond appropriately to our style of gentle and specific adjusting. Based upon your response to the test adjustment, Dr. Witherspoon will form a specific care plan and present it to you at your third visit. The level of care you engage in is up to you, but Dr. Witherspoon will always be gentle and honest, presenting a care plan that will address your problem and fix the cause. We hope you appreciate the respect and diligence with which we approach you and your health! We hope you give us the honor of working with you to address your current health problems and maximize your health! |
